Coco Beat, an energetic, eclectic, harmonic, rhythmic and multi-lingual band, has been a fixture on the local Monterey scene playing regularly at clubs and festivals throughout the area. Featuring vocalist and keyboardist Nancy Phillips and singer/songqriter Jim Lambertson up front, Coco Beat plays a unique blend of reggae and tropical rhythms with a heavy does of popular rock 'n' roll classics. The band also features bassist Dave Phillips, Hiram Fernandez on percussion instruments and vocals, plus newest member Tom Tessier on electric guitar.
