Cocktail Competition & Mixer at Rye Bar April 7, 2008

Cheer on the city’s top bartenders as they compete to create the best cocktail featuring Veloce.

Originally sold many years ago as an elixir, Veloce is a northern Italy wheat grain spirit, infused with the 100 year-old Sperone family herbal recipe and a new infusion of peach & apricot flowers, plus a touch of barrel aged Nebbiolo grappa.

Cocktails will be judged on originality, personality, functionality, compatibility of ingredients…and of course, taste!

There is NO COVER CHARGE to attend.

There will be light nibbles, and guests will get FREE SAMPLES of all the cocktail entries.
Plus, Rye will be offering Veloce drink specials all night long. In this competition, everybody wins!
