NIKI BUTCHER - will be giving hand painted black and white photography demonstrations Saturday and Sunday 10-2

MUCK-ABOUTS (swamp walks) $50 per person. This fee includes a $25 credit to use in the gallery the day of your walk. Children under 18 are free with paid adult. The fee is non-refundable. Rain date: October 25 & 26, 2010. We are now taking RESERVATIONS click here Swamp Walk
Times: Sat & Sun 9-2 Monday 9-12 You will have a guide to lead you into the The Big Cypress Swamp behind the swamp cottage at the Big Cypress Gallery which is a mysterious and secretive environment. There are not many people who brave the difficult swamps and cypress strands in order to understand the beauty and peace found in more than a million acres of swamps and land located in the Everglades eco-system of South Florida. The natural world of Big Cypress Swamp is a richly diverse wilderness of subtropical flora and fauna found nowhere else in our country.
What to Wear & Bring
1. Wear long pants, hat, old tennis shoes and bug spray.
2.Bring a complete change of clothes.
3. Waterproof camera
4. We will supply you with bottled water.
5. Bring lunch or snacks keep your cooler in the changing rooms.

For directions & more information Directions: Located in the heart of the Everglades, surrounded by more than a million acres of National Park, wetlands, and cypress hammocks of wild Florida, Big Cypress Gallery is the photographic art gallery and studio of Clyde and Niki Butcher. It is located on Tamiami Trail (highway 41) between MM 54-55, 47 miles east of the intersection of 41/951 in Naples, and 35 miles west of Krome Avenue in Miami. One half mile west of the gallery is the Big Cypress National Preserve Oasis Visitor Center
