"Upbeat footstomping punk funkers" - NME

Club Smith (formerly The Hair) are your next most played artists on your ipod. Hailing from York and Leeds, Sam Robson (Vox, guitar), Lee Clark (bass), Neil Clark (keyboards, sampler) and Vijay Mistry (drums) have been tearing up Yorkshire while you've been busy wishing you broke the Arctic Monkeys.

With huge support from the likes of Huw Stephens, regional BBC Radio shows and XFM Scotland to name a few, it’s time to take these guys national. Having won a battle of the bands competition in 2006 to perform first at Leeds Carling Festival on the unsigned act stage, The Hair are no strangers to winning over a crowd.

Won Radio Aire competition winning a slot at Wireless Festival
Disco/Retro video aired on main stage at Leeds Festival 2007 after winning a video competition with Channel 4 judges.
Played The Scala as part of Red Stripe Music Awards tour with Music Week after beating 300 regional bands in local heats.
