Les maîtres de l’électroclash font un retour au MEG en DJ Set après un premier passage en live. Casey Spooner et Warren Fischer se sont rencontrés à l’Art Institute of Chicago et ont débuté ensemble en réalisant des performances artistiques diverses dans les musées d’art contemporains. Depuis, ils ont émerveillé le monde entier en compagnie de myriades d’artistes accompagnateurs. Le DJ Set combine les forces de Warren Fischer sans Spooner et de Lauren Flax. Cette artiste nommée dans le Next 100 du magazine URB a déjà collaboré avec Le Tigre, Telepathe et HEARTSREVOLUTION. Ses mix
et remix à tendance house qui vont dans tous les sens ont même impressionné la Madonna, qui l’a invitée à spinner lors d’un spécial télé pour l’album Hard Candy. Fischer et Flax, une équipe infaillible!

Louise Gauvreau fait un retour au MEG Montréal, après un premier passage datant d’il y a presque dix ans! Initiatrice de la scène drum’n’bass montréalaise, organisatrice de soirées devenue artiste accomplie, Maus réside aujourd’hui au Salon Daomé et à La Panthère Noire. Elle est reconnue pour ses sonorités microhouse mélangées à des basses véloces qui créent un son techno ambiant et dansant à la fois. Attention toutefois, la Maus sait mixer à peu près n’importe quoi!

These Electroclash masters are making a comeback with a DJ set at MEG Montreal after premiering with a live performance. Casey Spooner and Warren Fischer met at the Art Institute of Chicago and began their career together by doing artistic performances iin various contemporary art museums. Since then, they have wowed worldwide audiences with the myriad guest artists they’ve invited to play with them. Their very special DJ set at MEG Montreal will combine the talents of Warren Fischer and Lauren Flax. Flax was recently named in the Next 100 of URB magazine and has collaborated with Le Tigre, Telepathe and HEARTSREVOLUTION. Her mixes and remixes with a house touch—spinning music in every direction—have impressed even the likes of Madonna, who invited her to spin on a television special for her Hard Candy album. Louise Gauvreau comes back to MEG Montreal after almost a decade! As a precursor to the Montreal drum’n’bass scene, she organized evenings and is still recognized as an accomplished artist. Today, Maus is resident DJ at the Salon Daomé and La Panthère Noire. She is renowned for her microhouse sounds mixed with fast bass to create an ambient techno that you can still dance to. Maus knows how to mix just about everything.
