Is global warming a global emergency? Are there energy alternatives to fossil fuels? Get answers at Climate Crisis Saturday, the final event of the 2 Degrees Climate Crisis Film Festival, a free event presented by the Vancouver Public Library and the Sierra Club.

The highlight of the day is a free screening of Al Gore's An Inconvenient Truth at 1 PM, followed by an expert panel discussion.

Panelists: climatologist Bill Taylor, scientist Dr. Colin Campbell, and MLA Gregor Robertson will comment on An Inconvenient Truth and provide additional insight into the global energy and climate situation.

Films start at 10:00 AM, and include award winners such as Being Caribou, Rising Waters, and Power Trip.
