What exactly is 'Clean Tech' and how will it affect the economy and our businesses in the year ahead?

NAWBO Silicon Valley invites you to join our panel of experts, including two venture capitalists, a strategic consultant and an attorney, as they provide insights and perspective on the road ahead for Clean Tech in 2009.

This special panel discussion will be followed by a Q&A session on a topic certain to be on the minds of all business owners, executives and investors.

Panel Moderator:
Brad Rock, Partner, DLA Piper concentrates in mergers and acquisitions; corporate securities, venture financings, and public offerings; public company securities law compliance; and software and hardware licensing and distribution. His practice is in a range of technology areas including Clean Tech. Mr. Rock has a J.D. from the University of California at Berkeley and an A.B. in Economics from Princeton University.

Panelists:
Dr. Cheemin Bo-Linn, Co-founder, Peritus Partners, is recognized as an innovative hi-tech leader and trusted advisor to small and medium size clients and enterprise divisions, ensures clients reach their full potential to reach the next level growth or lifecycle stage. She consults and speaks widely on a range of technology topics including Clean Tech.

Rob Koch, Managing Director, NGEN, works out of the Silicon Valley office. Prior to joining the fund in 2004, he was a serial entrepreneur, having worked with nascent technology companies throughout his career. Since graduating from Vanderbilt University in 1984 with a degree in chemical engineering, Mr. Koch has founded, managed and become an active angel investor and board member for numerous start-up companies.
Rick Yang, New Enterprise Associates, is focused on information technology investments, particularly Clean Tech, with an emphasis on venture growth equity investments.
