This class is for people who have experience in studio photography. This course will introduce you to the world of strobes, on-camera flash units, and other useful flash devices. You will learn how to take effective light readings of a variety of subjects, as well as how to incorporate flash systems with outdoor lighting for a more natural feeling. By the end of this course, you will be versed in lighting techniques for the home and professional studio.

Class 1:

Youwill learn how to take proper light readings, as well as to start using the studio lights for dramatic lighting. The on camera speedlight for Canon will be introduced as well.



Class 2:

You will learn how to create more dynamic lighting situations. The instructor will introduce Softboxes, grids, cinefoil, etc.



Class 3:

This last class will focus on how to use lighting in such a way that creates a beautiful image, yet does not suggest the use of any unnatural lighting. You will learn fill flash using the speedlight, and use of the strobes to replicate natural light.
