City Year Boston Serveathon October 25, 2003

On Saturday, October 25, 2003, the City Year Boston Serve-a-thon will celebrate its 15th Anniversary as a premier community service event and fundraiser. Since its inception in 1989, the Boston Serve-a-thon has engaged more than 90,000 citizens who have given over 540,000 hours of service and completed more than 1,900 service projects.

To honor 15 years of working with community organizations and schools, this year?s Serve-a-thon participants will serve in 15 service sites across the Greater Boston area. The momentous event will unite veterans of the City Year Boston Serve-a-thon with first-time participants both inspired by the same goal ? to build community through service
