Following up from the various free workshops held around the city, Poverty Talks is bringing together Calgarians working to address poverty in our communities.

Everyone interested in being a part of this is welcome, including newcomers.

The goals of this meeting include:
• Raising awareness of anti-poverty & poverty-alleviation projects and actions in our city.
• Building stronger support across groups and projects.
• Getting more people involved in projects and actions to end poverty.

Individuals or organizations with ongoing or planned projects or action ideas are encouraged to contact us in advance to schedule a spot for you to present at this meeting.
