Citizen Scientists: Tree Tracker Workshop February 26, 2011

Join NYSCI and other scientists from around the world and become a Citizen Scientist. As part of NYSCI's ongoing project, 'Communicating Climate Change,' families and individuals are invited to take part in a two-hour training session at NYSCI that will introduce them to the science behind climate change and the methods scientists use to track changes. After the training session, you will visit specific trees around the museum or in your neighborhood to observe and record the life cycle of the tree. As a NYSCI Citizen Scientist, you will then share your observations with other Citizen Scientists.
