Cinema Supper Club: From the Golden Gate to the Silver Screen continues this week at the Legion of Honor with a screening of So I Married an Axe Murderer (1993, 93 minutes). On Thursday evenings at the Legion through August 21, enjoy after-hours access to the special exhibition, Women Impressionists: Berthe Morisot, Mary Cassatt, Eva Gonzalès, Marie Bracquemond, bistro favorites and drinks in the Legion Café, and a film in the historic Florence Gould Theater. The summer series, entitled “From the Golden Gate to the Silver Screen,” features movies filmed in the City by the Bay. On July 31, visitors can enjoy a screening of the comedy, So I Married an Axe Murderer, starring Mike Myers as a beat poet afraid of commitment until he meets a butcher (Nancy Travis) who may also be a serial killer. The feature film at Cinema Supper Club on August 7 will be Harold and Maude (1971, 91 minutes).

Film begins at 8 pm; exhibition open until 9 pm. Tickets are $20 ($10 members) for the movie and special exhibition. For the special exhibition only, admission is $15 (members are free).
