Cine-Excess Closing Night Special: Roger Corman and Guests + Summer Scars Preview

We are excited to welcome the godfather of American indie film, and the King of the Bs, to the ICA. A rare opportunity to hear the great American film-maker Roger Corman discuss his prolific movie career. Corman has helped launch many now-famous directors (such as Francis Ford Coppola, Martin Scorsese and Peter Bogdanovich), as well as making a string of influential low-budget exploitation movies, including The Little Shop of Horrors, The Wild Angels and The Masque of the Red Death.

Summer Scars is a brooding and creepy British drama that develops into a darker and creepier version of Stand By Me. Six young friends ditch school and head off into the woods, only to be befriended by a strange and bedraggled man.
