Olympia native Rachel Corrie traveled to the Gaza Strip in 2003. As a participant in non-violent demonstrations in Rafah protesting the plight of the Palestinian people, she was struck by an Israeli bulldozer and killed. 'Let Me Stand Alone' is a collection of her writings from early childhood to the e-mails sent to her family from Palestine. Her parents speak about their daughter and what she had to say about all sides of the difficult Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
