Chorus marks 50th anniversary with celebration October 9, 2010

The Choral-Aires Chorus celebrates 50 years as a Sweet Adelines International chorus with a show, “Celebrate the Good Times” at 3 and 7 p.m., Saturday, October 9. The shows, held at the Prairie Center for the Arts (201 Schaumburg Court, Schaumburg, Ill.), are open to the public. Tickets cost $15 for general admission and $10 for seniors (62+) and students, and can be purchased by contacting Julie Struck at 847.496.4245 or [email protected].

More than 100 women from Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin sing tight harmonies a capella (without instrumentation) with the Choral-Aires Chorus, the 2008 Lake Michigan Region 3 Champion with the Sweet Adelines International.
