Underwater Adventures is exciting to announce their partnership with NBA Read To Achieve and the Minnesota Lynx for Children's Book Week!

Underwater Adventures is celebrating Children’s Book Week, May 12-18 by offering a discounted admission to anyone who brings in a new or gently used children’s book from May 12-18. When a guest brings in a book(s) they will receive will give them a discount for $3 off their admission to Underwater Adventures Aquarium (Limit 1 discount per person), and they will also receive a FREE TICKET to a Minnesota Lynx game (Supplies are limited). All the books collected by the end of Children’s Book Week will be donated to the Minnesota Lynx Read to Achieve Program.

In honor of Children's Book Week, two Minnesota Lynx players will also be reading to guests at Underwater Adventures on Saturday, May 17 from 6:00-6:30pm. Guests who come to Underwater Advnetures will be able to see the Minnesota Lynx players up close and hear some fishy tales.
About Minnesota Lynx Read to Achieve Program
The NBA, the Timberwolves and Lynx and American Family Insurance have partnered to implement Read to Achieve, a year-round literacy program campaign to help young people develop a life-long love of reading and to encourage adults to read regularly with children.

Reaching an estimated 50 million children a year, Read to Achieve is the most extensive educational outreach initiative in the history of professional sports. Locally, the program consists of a Starting Five reading program, Reading Time Outs, the refurbishment and creation of Reading and Learning Centers, and book donations.
