ChicoBag Bag Ban Bash Party, Contest, and Fashion Show November 20, 2007

Despite opposition from special interest groups and lobbyists, the City of San Francisco is boldly venturing into a new era of ecologically sensible legislation. The upcoming implementation of the plastic bag ban is a cause for jubilation!

This event features a show down of epic proportions: ChicoBag Girl vs Bag Monster. Other special guests include ban legislation sponsor and San Francisco Supervisor, Ross Mirkarimi. With music by DJ Brent Northey, and an Old Bag Eco Trashy Fashion Show, the evening is a guaranteed good time! Be sure to take a moment to enjoy our delicious Hors D'Oeuvres and drinks (free for first hour).

This victory is the first of many yet to come. It is the start of a new era of ecologically sensible legislation with cities acting locally to stand up to the challenges we face in combating the global garbage crisis.
