Mother's Nite Out

This month's Mom's Nite out is a chick flick where we'll cook a meal together and enjoy lively conversation. Then we'll watch Fried Green Tomatoes followed by a discussion of the spiritual themes of the movie.

Cooking and sharing meals together will increase our faith led friendships. As we chop, stir, eat, and laugh together; we'll learn about one another and build memories that will last a lifetime.

Not only that, there's much to learn about ourselves and God in movies. We'll see sin, betrayal, regret, and revenge. We'll also see love, sacrifice, grace, and redemption. All of these themes can powerfully teach us about God and how to follow him in our world.

Please RSVP so we kow how much food to prepare for. Cooking starts at 6:00 and the movie will start around 6:30.
