Chicago Noise Machine June 13, 2009

Nine Chicago rock bands have united to form Chicago Noise Machine, a partnership of musicians that collaborate on a series of concerts and compilation albums. A Birdsong Valentine, Algren, Bullet Called Life, Echoson, Heavy the Fall, Lucid Ground, Reverie, 72 Hours, and Simplistic Urge hope to draw more attention to the local music scene in Chicago by coordinating their performance and promotion efforts. While all nine bands fall under the genre of rock music, each group brings a distinct sound to the stage, ranging from the melodicore stylings of Simplistic Urge to the indie flavor of Reverie or the blues-influence in Bullet Called Life. They feel that their musical diversity will only help attract a crowd.
