Chicago Business Intelligence Group - Kick-off Meeting March 18, 2009

Welcome to the kick-off meeting of the Chicago Business Intelligence Group! For our first meetup, expect a rather informal agenda. We will present our vision for the group and future meetups, as well as our viewpoint of where BI stands in the market today (particularly here in Chicago).

This will be the first opportunity to introduce yourself to the group, chat with fellow BI professionals, and discuss ideas about what you want to gain from the group, as well as the direction you would like the group to move toward. More importantly, expect to meet some new people and have a good time.

The meeting location will be at Goose Island Brew Pub (1800 N. Clybourn, Chicago, IL). The meetup will begin with introductions, a short presentation and discussion about the state of BI during harsh economic times, and end with some time to socialize and network.

Small appetizers will be provided at the event.
