Chess Tournament February 19, 2010

15th Annual Parlin Memorial Scholastic Chess Tournament will be held on Friday, Feb. 19th. For students up through 12th Grade - in 3-4 age categories depending on participation. 3 rounds will be played in the morning, playoffs from 2-4 p.m. Family and friends encouraged to attend the closing ceremony with trophy presentations at 4. Tournament Director, Mike Sullivan. This is not a USCF rated event. There is no entry fee but sign up to save your seat by calling 617-394-2302 or email: [email protected]. Walk-ins will be accepted on a space available basis. Observers welcome but must maintain silence. Sharpen your game at open chess night - every Tuesday 6-8:30 P.M. at the Parlin Library - all ages welcome.
