Charlottesville Jazz Society presents: Sonny Fortune plus Mike Wade and his Quartet. January 28, 2011

Well known for his contributions to classic recordings by Miles Davis, McCoy Tyner, Elvin Jones and a long list of jazz greats, Fortune has also recorded dozens of acclaimed albums as a leader over his long career.For this performance, Fortune will be accompanied by Cincinnati-based trumpeter Mike Wade and his quartet.
