We are pleased to welcome back Charlie Parr all the way from the wilds of Minnesota. Charlie plays original and traditional folk, delta and Piedmont-style blues and old-time (mountain) music, accompanying himself on National resonator guitars, 12-string guitar and banjo. He has been compared to Charlie Patton Doc Boggs, Jack Rose, Robert Johnson, John Fahey, Mississippi John Hurt and the Harry Smith Anthology (all of it!).

Supporting Charlie on this tour is his old sparring partner Adrian Crowley. Adrian has recently been collaborating with James Yorkston and King Creosote. This should give you an idea of where he?s coming from although he?s extremely adept at Nick Drake, Red House Painters style heartbreaking melancholy.

We are pleased to have Benjamin Wetherill on the bill. He has been wowing crowds across Leeds and elsewhere for some time with his delicious brand of arch folk songs. We?re reminded of Noel Coward,
George Formby and good old Nick Drake. Its old fashioned yet strangely new - just how we like it.
