Living lightly on the Earth… exploring guiding principles for
environmental sustainability, social justice and well-being and fulfillment.

"Every single one of us can do something to make a difference" says Desmond Tutu, one of many influential and inspiring contributors to Change The Dream. He says this in spite of, even because of, the overwhelming evidence that we are sleep-walking towards extinction, as short-sighted exploitation of natural and human 'resources' unbalances the fragile web of societies and life on Earth.

Indigenous peoples who still live in traditional Earth-honouring ways, refer to our modern worldview as our "dream". They are urging us to change that dream for the sake of all life. But changing the collective dream will be accomplished only if committed individuals start working in concert, and if each one of us is willing to think and act in a new way.

This Symposium looks at the deep assumptions that underlie the very way we see the world, and how we can begin to change. The day-long event uses video clips from Paul Hawken, Thomas Berry and many others, plus leading edge information, interactive group work and opportunities for you to network and share. Are you ready to be disturbed, inspired and moved to action? Do you want to meet like-hearted and committed people already engaged in changing the dream of our modern culture? To "make a difference" together?

If so, we invite you to the Change The Dream Symposium.
