D. A. Powell's most recent collection of poems, COCKTAILS, was a
finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award. His work is
currently featured in issues of GULF COAST, KENYON REVIEW, QUARTERLY
WEST and POETRY. He teaches in the English Department of the
University of San Francisco.

Jeff O'Keefe just finished a Jones Lectureship at Stanford, where he was previously a Stegner Fellow in Fiction, and his writing has been published in Epoch and Open Letters Monthly. In the past he's read as part of the Progressive Reading series and the Bernal Yoga reading series. He lives in the Richmond District with his wife and son and is at work on a collection of stories.

Toni Mirosevich's new collection, 'Pink Harvest' (Midlist Press, 2007 First Series Award) is comprised of nonfiction stories that often color outside the lines of what is considered creative nonfiction. She is also the author of three collections of poetry, including 'Queer Street' and 'My Oblique Strategies' winner of the Frank O'hara Chapbook Award. Matthew Clark Davison is a fiction writer and teacher. The novel he’s working on, Letters to the Dead, was recently awarded a SF Cultural Equities Grant. His short fiction has appeared in or on Lodestar Quarterly, 580-Split, The Mississippi Review’s EVO, The Atlantic Monthly, and others. He teaches fiction at SF State, mentors artists at The Performing Arts Workshop, and leads The Douglass Street Lab, a private writing workshop that meets for 8-weeks three times a year.
