Chabot College Fall Voter Reg Event October 19, 2008

UPDATE: On August 21st I was asked to either pay a $50 fee or leave the campus by Nancy Soto. Ms. Soto stated that no free speech zone existed on the Chabot Campus this semester. I pay property taxes in Alameda County. Furthermore I have not experienced this kind of incident on any other college campus. I am extremely distressed by Nancy Soto's actions and accusations. SECOND UPDATE: Efforts are being made to determine the name of the attorney or law firm representing the school as well as the chief administrative officer. Once those individuals have been sourced the appropriate action will move forward. In all likelihood this event will not occur before that conversation is held. SEPTEMBER 7, 2008 UPDATE: Witness fees of $1,000 are offered following sworn testimony in the USDC-NC for information related to the destroyed voter registration affidavit on August 21, 2008. Terms and conditions apply. $100 is offered upon a handshake to the female student present who made comments explaining Senator Obama's positions on August 21, 2008.
