CFA Championship Cat Show February 4, 2011

WHAT: The annual Miami Florida Cat Fanciers, Inc. (chartered in 1969) cat show will feature approximately 225 beautiful pedigreed cats and household pets from around the country. Fancy felines will be groomed, judged and displayed for spectators to see. The highest scoring Household Pets will be crowned MARDI PAW 2011 KING & QUEEN, complete with crowns and satin capes! New exhibitors are encouraged to enter their cat and compete in the show!

A “supermarket” of supplies will be available from a myriad of vendors – from gourmet food to unique jewelry, cat beds, cat treats, cat trees, etc. Pedigreed cats/kittens will also be available for sale. Non-profit rescue groups (www.kitnhevn.org, www.wvhumanesociety.com/ and www.feralfanciers.org) will be on hand with cats available for adoption.

WHO: The country’s top pedigreed cats, from the lean, lanky curly coated Cornish Rex to the large and groomed to “purrfection” Persians. Breeders and judges are available for interviews.
