Celebration of the Ethiopian Culture at Messob February 18, 2006

Join Messob and the Los Angeles Cultural Dining Tour on Saturday, February 18th, for an exploration of Ethiopian culture and cuisine at one of L.A.'s best Ethiopian restaurants. Learn about coffee's origins in Ethiopia and the intricacies of Ethiopian coffee service, as well as the traditions of sharing food and feeding one another.

The Cultural Dining Tour (www.culturaldining.com) is a three-week event across the Los Angeles area involving over 60 restaurants. Restaurants are creating a special menu for this time, and incorporating events and performances reflecting their countries of origin. Proceeds from the three weeks will benefit COPE and the Los Angeles Coalition To End Hunger and Homelessness. As the mayor recently referred to Los Angeles as the nation's homelessness capital, there may be no more vital time than now to show our support and involvement in this cause.
