Celebrating the Ladies: THE GODDESSES OF CARAMOOR - Rosen House Exhibition Preview Benefit May 16, 2009

The Rosen House at Caramoor will hold a benefit to celebrate Lucie Bigelow Rosen, Caramoor’s founder and goddess, as well as the opening of its new exhibition, From Here to Eternity: Popular Female Deities in Chinese Art, and to launch the new season at the Rosen House. The evening will raise funds to help underwrite the installation of the exhibition, the upkeep of the collection, as well as the programs of the Rosen House. The event begins with cocktails in the Spanish Courtyard, followed by: a preview of the exhibition with the guest curator; dinner; a performance of a Chinese Ribbon dance; a silent auction and dancing to the lively music of Ed Polcer and his Swingtet.
