The Muslim Students Association at Pitt in colloboration with the Cross Cultural Leadership Center and Black Action Society invites you to the event: Celebrating Black History Month: Presenting the Film "Prince Among Slaves"

When: Thursday, February 26th at 8.00pm Prior to the event, there will be a talk by brother Luqmon Abdus-salaam. Our speaker,Luqmon Abdus-salaam , is an active member of Sankore of Islamic African Studies International. Luqmon studies ancient manuscripts from West Africa by past African muslim scholars on the sciences of the religion. He has reluctantly taken on a leadership role in the muslim community and sits on the board of MANA (Muslim Alliance of North America). He is also a consultant for the yet to be released documentary: The New Muslim Cool. He is also a poet, writer, and educator. Refreshments will be served.
