Celebrate and Connect with Communicators: Member Open House November 5, 2008

Get an early start on your holiday festivities. Come to the Member Open House and Celebration on Wednesday, Nov. 5, and network with fellow communicators.
Meet and mingle with staff from IABC's international headquarters and your local chapter leaders. This event is hosted jointly by IABC and the San Francisco Chapter.
The event also includes an open house, a chance to learn more about your member benefits. If you're a new member, you'll have an opportunity to learn about:

- Programs and professional development at the international and local levels
- Publications and tools from IABC
- Diversity events and resources for communicators
- Volunteer opportunities at the local chapter
- Resources for members on the IABC and Chapter Web sites

Of course, you don't have to be a new member to attend this event. If you've been a member for some time but would like to know more about the benefits IABC offers, or you simply want to connect with communicators, come to the Member Open House and Celebration. And bring along friends who are considering joining IABC.
There will be door prizes at the event. To participate in the raffle drawings, we ask that you please bring a canned grocery item, which will entitle you to a raffle stub. In the spirit of charitable giving, the groceries will be donated to a local shelter.
