Castro Valley Mineral and Gem Show March 6, 2010

The largest display of billion-year-old fluorescent rocks and minerals in Northern California is presented in a darkroom, for maximum effect. Minerals within these specimens radiate brilliant colors and striking patterns, visible under ultraviolet lights in a special darkened viewing room. The show always features a vast quantity of outstanding gemstones, minerals, crystals and jewelry. A Surprise Fossil Display is featured, along with a remarkable ten thousand year-old prehistoric Siberian cave bear fossil. The will be a live auction and children activities.
