UNC Symphony Orchestra, featuring Keira Duffy, soprano, John Tessier, tenor, and Brian Leerhuber, baritone, and the Carolina Choir

This performance of Carl Orff’s epic cantata features tenor John Tessier (who has performed lead operatic roles in houses around the world, including the Metropolitan Opera and Royal Opera House Covent Garden), soprano Keira Duffy, baritone Brian Leerhuber, Carolina Choir, the UNC Chamber Singers and Glee Clubs, and the UNC Symphony Orchestra. This program also features the premiere of a piano concerto by UNC faculty composer Stephen Anderson with pianist Steven Harlos, from Dallas, who commissioned the work. Presented in collaboration with the Office of the Executive Director for the Arts.
