Are you tired of groundhog Monday-everyday days at work? Have you ever wondered what life would be like if you could just reach the precipice and take a peek at what's on the other side? What about all those burning career questions you've been dying to ask but stay silent because talking about them with colleagues will trigger the booby trap of work gossip?

The IT industry is one of the most opportunity-rich industries and yet the breadth of choices can make finding out what you want to do next incredibly tricky and confounding. This ProNetworking event invites three speakers, each with an exceptional record of technical and professional excellence, to share with you their journey of how they got to where they are and how they plan to get to where they want to go next. The speakers have been partly chosen because of the corporate entities to which they belong, ranging from Microsoft, to BBC Worldwide to Citigroup, to provide insights and home truths about the varying cultures of place and employer. This is your chance to try on a job for look, feel and fit by learning from the experiences of those who have travelled along the labyrinthine path before you. This is your chance to do some serious pronetworking in a unique and open forum among friendly and like-minded professionals.

This event is arranged by the British Computer Society's Young Professionals Group.

The BCS is the only Chartered Professional Institution for Information Technology (IT) and exists to provide service and support to the IT community, including IT practitioners and employers of IT practitioners. The Society also acts to generate public awareness and appreciation of the concomitant social and economic benefits IT.
