StandUp For Kids is a national all-volunteer organization that reaches out to the 1.3 million homeless and street youth in the United States. StandUp for Kids has active programs in 39 cities. We believe there are 2500 homeless and street kids in the Silicon Valley area that need our help. On April 24th we will be holding a candle light vigil to educate the public on the plight of homeless youth, and light candles for the 13 homeless youth that die on the streets of America everyday. Please join SUFK, Judge Lucero, Various San Jose Elected Officials and various other non-profits that serve homeless youth for an enlightening evening of education & music.

I would like to know more about how I can help and volunteer my services. I live in lafayette and I am not currently a member of any organizations besides my church and my job.
I try to help as many people as i can that i see on the streets but I recently realized that i can not do it alone. After speaking to my sister a couple of days ago she suggested that I try to help in other ways.
As i was looking through different events just to see what is going on this weekend your ad stood out. So i am asking to find out more and if I can render any services to your cause. Please tell me more?
