Canalys Navigation Forum October 14, 2008

The Canalys Navigation Forum extends to the US for the first time this year, and will take place in the glorious setting of the Ritz Carlton hotel in Half Moon Bay, San Francisco on the 14th and 15th October.

Canalys has recognized the need for an event focused on the Americas region to complement the already established Navigation Forum covering EMEA. The US market alone will this year outstrip the growth rates experienced in EMEA for PNDs and absolute shipment rates are set to overtake those of EMEA in 2009. Although the two regions share similar challenges in developing the navigation market into an extended service based revenue model, there are issues, opportunities and barriers specific to each. This event will focus presentations and panels on the Americas region while learning from the experiences elsewhere.

An exclusive C-level delegate list drawn from operators, navigation hardware and software, channel organizations, content and advertising companies, financial analysts and press will gain invaluable insight into the future of this sector in the region. Coupled with this will be excellent opportunities to network with existing or future business partners, including the Canalys Navigation Golf Challenge tournament to be held on the exceptional Half Moon Bay course.
