Canadian Influences during the Chicago School of Architecture 1882-1935 May 28, 2008

This lunchtime lecture will be presented by Darrel G. Babuk, AIA, MRAIC, Associate Principal, DLK Civic Design.
At the turn of the 20th century, Chicago was a magnet for Canadian immigrants, many were influential in the technical development of the skyscraper, and the aesthetic development of Modernism in architecture. In turn, talented architects from Chicago went to Canada to practice. This event is free.
