Four men are currently detained in canada without charge, and without access to all of the evidence justifying their detention. canada could return these men to torture, in violation of international law. how did this happen? panel discussion presented by human rights watch toronto young advocates and the international human rights program at university of toronto?s faculty of law the panelists will consider whether: - security laws and policies in canada are undermining civil liberties? - what methods are other countries employing to combat the issue of terrorism? - how can canada deal with security issues in a way which does not undermine human rights?
