The Liar Show (A TimeOut NY "City Pick") features a cast of performers telling extremely personal stories that will make you laugh, make you think and probably make you glad you don't live with them. But listen carefully, because not everyone here is telling the truth. Find out who the liar is at Comix Wednesday, July 23rd at 8:00 PM.

This special edition of the show features twice the fun and twice the confusion: 8 very short stories, two of which are lies. After enjoying the stories, the audience interrogates the cast, to poke holes in the stories and uncover the fraud. Those who expose one of the Liars of the night walk away with an unbelievable "I Can Tell A Lie" t-shirt.

The show's creator and host, Andy Christie, is a writer and storyteller whose work has appeared in the NY Times. He is also The Moth's 2007 GrandSlam Storytelling Champion.

"Liar" storytellers who will appear at Comix include:
Ophira Eisenberg (Comedy Central; Backstage's "Ten Standout Comics")
Peter Lubell (NPR; Independent Film Channel)
Jim O'Grady (NY Times)
Steve Osborne (NYC Gang Squad Detective)
Faye Lane ("Beauty Shop Stories")
Jeffery Rudell ("The Apprentice")
Ed Gavagan (The Moth GrandSlam Champion)
Juliet Wayne (The Moth Finalist)
