Cheryl Rose, the director of partnerships and projects for the Social Innovation Group (SIG) at the University of Waterloo, will be speaking at the second offering of the Laurel Centre's Social Entrepreneurship Lecture Series on Tuesday, February 5.

As the founding Executive Director of the Canadian Alliance for Community Service-Learning, Cheryl Rose has a demonstrated passion for civic engagement and a strong belief in the power of students to work for social change.

Cheryl’s talk will focus on the power of students to engage in their communities as change makers, and will also address the work of the recently-founded Social Innovation Generation (SIG) group at the University of Waterloo.
