Calling All Kids! Take Action NY - Volunteer at the Pier with CFC April 25, 2009

Ages 5 and up, accompanied by an adult if under 13. This is a FREE volunteer event for kids and youth to participate in, planned by Children for Children’s Youth Planning Committee (YPC).

Complete hands-on service projects conceived, developed, and led by high school students from greater NYC who serve as leaders for kids and teens who want to make a difference in their communities. The community issues addressed were chosen by the YPC as the issues closest to their hearts, and service projects will include decorating environmentally friendly canvas grocery bags, packing care kits with healthy foods to be given out at a food pantry, and more.
