2007 Earth Day POSTER CONTEST Call To Artists!
Planting Seeds of Community has been selected as the theme for the 8th Annual Earth Day, which will be held on April 21, 2007 in Woodlawn Park.

The Earth Day Coalition (a collection of individuals, organizations and the Woodlawn Neighborhood Association) chose this year’s Earth Day theme, Planting Seeds of Community, to focus on the role of Woodlawn neighbors in helping to reconnect our community roots to the earth, and to each other. We want you to send us your artistic designs for this year’s poster. The winner of the poster contest receives $200. The winning design will be reproduced into a poster, which will include 2007 Earth Day copy. Multiple posters will be sent out to select areas throughout the NE Portland and Metro Portland area for display, and of course, the winning design will be on display for all the Earth Day attendees to see on April 21, 2007. Earth Day is entirely planned, designed, organized, built, and run by VOLUNTEERS, and on a minimal budget.
