Drexel graduate Jason Hall will be screening his award-winning short film CALENDAR GIRL during the 11th annual FirstGlance Film Festival (http://www.firstglancefilms.com) October 16th-19th at Prince Music Theater, 1412 Chestnut Street.

Jason produced, directed and adapted the script from a play by Faith Brody. CALENDAR GIRL follows Ari (Sarah Babb), a twenty-something suicidal waitress, in an isolated rural New Jersey diner. In the dark winter months before the holidays, she encounters Phil (Evan Jonigkeit), a drifter posing as a photographer on assignment. Both are lonely, and come to yearn for the warm touch of the other.

CALENDAR GIRL is an official selection of the FirstGlance Film Festival, New Filmmakers Screening Series, Garden State Film Festival, and Bronx Independent Film Festival. Drexel University awarded the film for Excellence in Producing.
