The Nature of Wildworks, a non-profit wildlife education organization located in the Santa Monica Mountains, is hosting a benefit at the historic Leonis Adobe Museum, 23537 Calabasas Road. The program will include an introduction by television and screen actress, Wendie Malick; a bluegrass concert by Mollie Hogan and her partner, Mike Martsolf; a 40 minute animal show featuring wild native and exotic animals housed at Wildworks; free tours of the historic Leonis Adobe house; a silent auction; special activities for children; hors d'oeuvres, soft drinks, and a cash bar with wine and beer. The cost is $25 per person, $10 for children up to age 18, or $65 for families of up to four. Additional children are $10 each. Free parking.
The event is open to the public, but reservations must be received by no later than Monday, June 1. Walk-ins will be admitted if space permits but will be charged an additional $10 per person. For reservations, call The Nature of Wildworks at 310-455-0550 or e-mail [email protected].
