Two Oboes
Two oboes are Sarah Braun-Hamilton and Jennifer Knipling. We are two classically trained oboists who have converted to experimental improvosational techniques. Our setup includes two oboes, two loop pedals, and various effects including delay, ring modulation, distortion and pitch shifting. Our music is noisy and beautiful.

Eet is Alyssa (Venerable Showers of Beauty Gamelan member) and Ryan (Ifsh). We improvise with twee toys, tonal percussion, vocals and live sampling to make noisy soundscapes that range from wavering textured drones to dirty beat-driven ditties. We are also in Dendrites.

Sexing the Strawberry
Sexing the Strawberry is pop music for the post gender world. Started sometime last month as a form of "pop terrorism" Sexing the Strawberry is brash, sexy and fresh! Sick and tired of being denied the sluttish elegance of Britney Spears, Hillarie Duff and especially, Lindsay Lohan, Sexing the Strawberry decided to take popular music by the horns and throw it down the stairs. In fact, people liken their sound to an amplified aluminum shopping cart being thrown down a department store escalator to the tune of "Hit Me Baby One More Time". Influenced by Debbie Gibson, Lydia Lunch, Britney Spears, Teen-Age Jesus and the Jerks, Diamanda Galas`, Placebo, Tiffany, Coil, Hole and Sonic Youth, StS is abrasive and uncompromising, yet frequently tender. StS offers a sweet tart take on No-wave, Pop and Rock. StS can best be summed up in the words of their front monster, Christy Kurlingiron: "We just couldn't take it any more.
All those f*cking pop stars getting all the f*cking money, all the f*cking drugs, all the f*cking dick and all the f*cking attention. The world is a wasteland of candy coated tits and ass and burgers and all of it under the guise of as family entertainment! I mean, give me a f*cking break! They outlaw gay marriage and yet Justin Timberlake who was a major force behind the most homoerotic event this side of the 90's, is allowed to have a "legitimate" heterosexual solo career! I mean talk about internalized homophobia! This country is fucked up. I want a trillion dollar wedding to JC Chavez and if I can't be a pop star and have everything they have and more, then neither should anyone else! It was at that moment that we realized we hated everything and that the world was shit and that it had to be destroyed.
