CA Rare Fruit Gardeners GG Chapter Meeting Part One May 10, 2008

This 5+ acre farm, run by a dynamic director, Shyaam Shabaka, now contains dozens of fruit trees, a variety of farm animals, vegetables, and two creeks. His program involves youth from inner cities from 20 different schools. Participants learn about farming, cooking and animal husbandry. While the director has waived the tour fee for CRFG, it is of course a worthy enterprise and donations would be appreciated.
