Who hasn't experienced the trials, tribulations, and joys of love? This original piece will inspire you and make you fall in love all over again while experiencing laugher, loss, nostalgia, and warmth. Love is a series of stories penned by many local playwrights and authors expressing both fictional and true life stories. This show is not to be missed. The first collaborative writing endeavor taken on by The Byers-Evans House Theatre Company, Love is truly a unique experience.

This show is being directed by Amy Ratliff with Jen Sjolander as the co-director. Starring some of Denver Theater’s finest: Matthew Morgan, Kevin Cox, Matt Lang, Allison Smith and Janet Noble.

Stories were written by Maggie Stillman, Amy Ratliff, Wesley Song, Peter Nemenoff, Laura Ione, Lou Adducci, Janet Noble, and includes two letters from the Baby Doe Tabor Collection from The ColoradoHistoric Society Collection of Books and Manuscripts Archives.

The show takes place in the library of the historic Byers-Evans House Museum, amidst the Evans family original belongings and beautiful furniture. The museum collection itself serves as the stage and creates an historic atmosphere appropriate to the historic nature of the letters. The museum has always supported local theatre by serving as a venue for various small companies. This is the first performance of the newly formed Byers-Evans Theatre Company which is associated directly with the house. All ticket proceeds help support museum programs, operations and education. Up next for The Byers-Evans House Theatre Company will be the long-anticipated revival of the popular An Evening With Edgar Allen Poe for Halloween 2011.
