'Bye Bye Birdie' is a high-spirited 1960s rock 'n' roll musical comedy about an Elvis-like teen idol superstar Conrad Birdie who has been drafted into the Army. Birdie's manager Albert and secretary Rosie have cooked up a plan to send him off with a new song and one last kiss from a lucky teenage fan on The Ed Sullivan Show! The OSA performance, directed by Danny Duncan, will be modeled after the Broadway production.
