Saturday, August 28, 5 PM to 11 PM

The crown jewel of our celebration of local music returns to the East Village Arts District. More than a dozen local bands-turned buskers will compete for wooden nickles and a chance to win five full days of recording time at Compound Studio in Long Beach. To close out the night, nationally celebrated (but still local) bands Delta Spirit and Crystal Antlers will take over the neighborhood.

Join us and our master of ceremonies, Wr...ite Bloody poet Derrick Brown, as we toss wooden nickles into the guitar cases of our favorite buskers! Street performers include:
