Burn off the Bird 5K Run/1 mile Fun Run/Walk November 27, 2010

The Phoenixville Jaycees will host the second annual “Burn Off the Bird” 5K Run, 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk in Phoenixville on Saturday November 27th of this year. Proceeds from this event will be used to help maintain and revitalize the recreation parks in the town as well as assist the Jaycees in continuing to give back to the community. Last year’s event brought in over 250 runners and walkers. The Jaycees will host a vendor fair during the event to help local businesses, organizations, or individuals promote themselves. The event will take place at the Franklin Commons, 400 Franklin Avenue, Phoenixville from 8:00am until the close of the awards ceremony. All race sponsors will be given the opportunity to have a table within the vendor fair. Please feel free to have items for sale, hand out brochures, and help promote a pleasant atmosphere for the participants, spectators, and volunteers.
